Join us for the opening reception of Halcyon Daze, a new exhibition by American painter Joseph Arnegger, on May 8 from 5–8 PM.
Halcyon Dazeevokes a sense of nostalgia—those idyllic, sunlit moments remembered as peaceful and unhurried. Through layered textures and imagery drawn from memory, popular culture, and Florida’s luminous landscapes, Arnegger creates paintings that feel both familiar and timeless.
Raised on the shores of Long Island and Florida and educated at Ringling School of Art and Design, Arnegger works on unconventional surfaces such as found wood and metal, building richly patinated compositions that invite close looking and reflection.
