Rob Tarbell: ILLUMINATIONS

October 3–31, 2026 Opening Reception: October 3 | 5-8 PM

Illuminations draws on the fleeting properties of smoke and mirroring, and amends once cherished tchotchkes to expose false narratives, conflicted virtues, and fractured identities as they are broadcast, displayed, and distorted—using transience and tension as both visual and material metaphors. Figures formed with smoke hover between presence and evasion amidst mirroring and reflective color shifting grounds. Reassembled ceramic tchotchkes stage awkward, charged narratives that reveal the fragility of purity, perception, and moral posturing.

STELÈA: Visions Beyond Time, A Contemporary Art Solo Exhibition by KEZIAT

September 3–27, 2026

Following its debut at the Matteo Sansone National Archaeological Museum in Mattinata, Puglia, Italian artist Keziat brings Stelèa to the United States with a new exhibition at 502 Gallery. Through ballpoint drawings, video, and immersive installations, Keziat explores memory, mythology, identity, and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. For its American premiere, she presents a new body of work and a site-specific installation created specifically for 502 Gallery.

Stelèa connects ancient symbols and contemporary experience, creating a dialogue between cultures, places, and generations.
