harriett hritz

Born in Naples, Florida, Harriett Hritz’s artistic journey began early, surrounded by the vibrant landscapes of her coastal hometown. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from Ringling School of Art & Design. Over her 40+ year career as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director, she has helped clients and non-profits build their brands through creative storytelling and design. Her passion for fine art runs parallel to her design work. Inspired by the natural world, she blends expressive color, collage, charcoal, and graphite to explore themes of beauty, resilience and preservation.

Analogue Series: Nature’s Resilience This collection explores the balance between the fading analogue past and our digital present while celebrating the enduring beauty of nature. Using mixed media—charcoal, graphite, collage, and paint—this work reflects on time’s passage and the need to protect the natural world. The collage materials—old checks, map indexes, and typography book clippings—symbolize what we’ve discarded in favor of progress. But unlike these relics, nature cannot be replaced. This work serves as a reminder that nature’s beauty is fragile, irreplaceable, and must be preserved, even as we embrace the conveniences of the digital age.
